The Medicine Hat Shopper is a controlled distribution weekly publication that has been serving Medicine Hat and area since 1976 and has established itself as the leading advertising vehicle in the community. The Shopper distributes 24,425 copies door to door in Medicine Hat, Redcliff, Bow Island and Maple Creek every Saturday, and use the Canada Post in the rural trading area to distribute an additional 1,716 copies. The Medicine Hat Shopper has a 86% penetration of the city and 68% penetration in the rural retail trading area.
