The Ft. Lauderdale Westside Gazette is in the Miami - Fort Lauderdale, FL DMA. Since its inception in 1971, the Westside Gazette has grown to become Broward Countys oldest and largest African American owned and operated newspaper. Founded in 1971, it has established superior service throughout Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach Counties. It is a "Proud Paper for A Proud People," and has established a reputation as a well respected and alternative information source for South Floridas African American Community.
