El Pregonero

In, 1977, Padre Sean O’Malley – now Boston’s Cardinal – had a vision to bring local, national, and international news and features to the growing Hispanic community of the Archdiocese of Washington. That was then, and 30 years later, El Pregonero is the Washington area’s oldest Spanish-language newspaper. Four pages, photocopied and stapled then, now 32 pages each week, filled with full color photographs and stories of faith, family and inspiration. Still in touch with its ever-growing community, El Pregonero reaches out to readers – men and women, old land young – across the diverse Hispanic community of the Washington metro area.

El Pregonero is in the Washington DC, Hagerstown, DC DMA. El Pregonero is a Spanish language paper offering ROP and insert advertising opportunities in its daily circulation. It is published weekly in Tabloid format, and distributed through red box distribution points. This paper is CAC audited.
