El Visitante de Puerto Rico is a weekly Catholic newspaper and non-profit organization, published since January 5, 1975. It has a growing circulation in the areas of Ponce, Mayaguez, Agues, Arecibo and San Juan. As a weekly publication, each issue has a broad life span, usually covering several days. As a source of information, it serves both educational and religious purposes.
