La Opinion Company, Inc. is a news organization dedicated to the Hispanic Community in East Texas. Founded in 1989, La Opinion offers news, sports, business, legal, entertainment and information in Spanish. Education is a primary consideration of the organization to the approximately 200,000 Hispanics who live within the area served. Currently, the Hispanics represent twenty five per cent of the total economic market in East Texas.The La Opinion-TX is in the Tyler - Longview (Lufkin & Nacogdoches), TX DMA. It is a Spanish language publication designed to meet the specific needs of the Jacksonville, Texas area Hispanic community. The La Opinion-TX offers ROP and insert advertising opportunities in its Wednesday weekly circulation.
