Recent Breakthrough with Reiman Onserts 04/24/2003
Reiman Publications is now allowing advertisers to use Public Service Announcements (PSAs) as their 25% "Reiman-owned" editorial on their onserts. Certain magazines, such as Reiman Publications, do not allow display advertising in any of their publications. The only way to reach your consumers is via an "Onsert" that would ride along with the publication inside of the polybag. The onsert is positioned "on top" of the magazine when mailed; in essence, running as a solo piece.

In order for the magazine to be mailed via Second Class mail, thus, resulting in cost savings, onserts must contain 25% editorial that is provided by the publication. The other 75% is an advertisement provided by the advertiser. The onsert must also contain the endorsement: "Supplement to (insert name of publisher here) Publications" on its front cover. The U.S. Post Office must approve a mock-up of the actual onsert, and the piece cannot be altered once it is approved.
