“Quick,” the Premier Dallas Commuter Daily Newspaper 07/28/2004
With the closing of the Dallas AM Journal Express, the competition of Dallas area commuter newspapers is over. Its main rival, “Quick,” the Dallas Morning News commuter publication, is still running strong with over 150,000 circulation, Monday through Friday. Their target audience is between ages 18 and 34 with a median household income of $46,000, well-educated trend-setters and career-oriented professionals. Quick has over 2,000 distribution locations in the Dallas area, ranging from office buildings to high-traffic central locations and even coffee shops.
