Cincinnati Suburban Papers Deliver Affluent Young Families to Advertisers 01/27/2005
Home delivery of The Cincinnati Community Press and The Community Recorder newspapers is concentrated in the more affluent suburban areas. Readers tend to be married, are age 30-64, have children living in the house, and are homeowners with an average annual household income of $51,987. With incomes to support active family lifestyles, readers buy and shop for more goods and services than the average-market adult according to a market study conducted by Belden Associates. One issue of Community Press / Community Recorder reaches 40% of all suburban-market adults (398,700), and reaches them an average of three times. And with the recent additions of Indian Hill Journal and The Ft. Thomas Recorder, net adult reach over four issues is projected at 411,00 readers. Advertisers need to take notice of these suburban newspapers and recognize them as a way to access young, active families with discretionary income. Echo Media works with Suburban Newspapers across the U.S. in addition to our relationships in Cincinnati. Source: (Suburban Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky Market Study, Belden Associates.)
